Badminton |

Like tennis, badminton is played in singles or doubles. Badminton matches are in three sets. A rally ends once the shuttlecock has touched the ground and every stroke must be played as a volley. At a serious level, badminton is a brisk game in which players run, jump, twist, stretch and lunge. As such it requires and develops quick reflexes and good hand to eye coordination. Badminton courts can be found at leisure centres and sports clubs. You'll need a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, badminton shoes or trainers with a good grip, a racket and shuttlecocks.
